मुंबई, दि. 20 : फ्रान्सच्या सहकार्याने होत असलेला जैतापूर येथील अणुऊर्जा प्रकल्प हा जगातील सर्वात मोठा अणुऊर्जा निर्मिती प्रकल्प असून या प्रकल्पामुळे भारतीय व फ्रेंच उद्योगांमधील सहकार्य अधिक वाढेल असे प्रतिपादन फ्रान्सचे मुंबईतील नवनियुक्त वाणिज्यदूत जॉन मार्क सेर शॉर्ले यांनी येथे केले.
शॉर्ले यांनी राज्यपाल भगतसिंह कोश्यारी यांची सोमवारी (दि. २०) राजभवन येथे सदिच्छा भेट घेतली, त्यावेळी ते बोलत होते. फ्रान्स सन 2022 साली भारतात आपला सांस्कृतिक महोत्सव ‘बॉनजो इंडिया‘ आयोजित करणार असून त्यानंतर भारत देखील फ्रान्स मध्ये ‘नमस्ते फ्रांस‘ या भारताच्या सांस्कृतिक महोत्सवाचे आयोजन करणार असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.
करोना काळात भारतातील फ्रेंच कंपन्यांनी एकही कामगार कपात केली नाही असे वाणिज्यदूतांनी राज्यपालांना सांगितले. राफाएल सहकार्यामुळे भारत – फ्रान्स संबंध अधिक मजबूत झाले असून फ्रेंच कंपनी दासाऊँ एव्हिएशनच्या सहकार्याने नागपूर येथील शासकीय औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थेत व्यवसाय प्रशिक्षण देण्याचे कार्य सुरु असल्याचे राज्यपालांनी यावेळी सांगितले.
राज्यातील 22 सार्वजनिक विद्यापीठांचे कुलपती या नात्याने फ्रान्समधील विद्यापीठांनी राज्यातील विद्यापीठांशी सहकार्य करण्याचा प्रस्ताव केल्यास आपण त्याचे स्वागत करू, असे राज्यपालांनी वाणिज्यदूतांना सांगितले.

Jaitapur project will further promote business cooperation between India and France
Mumbai Dated 20 : The newly appointed Consul General of France in Mumbai Jean Marc Sere Charlet has said that successful commissioning of the Jaitapur project, the largest nuclear power plant in the world will further promote business cooperation between India and France. The Consul General was speaking to Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Monday (20th Dec)
The Consul General told the Governor that France will be holding its cultural festival ‘Bonjour India’ after which India will also hold its ‘Namaste France’ in France.
The Governor said that Rafale deal has strengthened the strategic cooperation between India and France. He said French company Dassault Aviation is offering a vocational training programme at Government Industrial Training Institute in Nagpur.
